Excellent! Well said. We need more people like Tulsi in Congress to push back against Right-wing war monger running our government.
We are an arrogant species, believing our fantasy based "facts" are better than the other person's fake facts.
If you are wrong, it will be because you are not cynical enough.

I agree with her, but she should use the proper name of the country, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Putting the word “Islamic” in front of it was either a stupid mistake or a way to gin up fear. I hope it is the former and not the later. Not all of those in the Islamic faith are bad.

“Not all of those in the Islamic faith are bad.”
@davidpdx , I don’t see where Tulsi said those who follow the Islamic faith are bad. She was referring to the ruling family of the absolute monarchy and extreme wahhabist Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

You misquoted Tulsi. She said “Islamist,” not “Islamic.” Big difference. The definition of Islamist is one who is an advocate of supporting militant or fundamentalist Islam, which is a Very Bad Thing, and is also an accurate description of the fanatical Saudi regime. “Islamic” is the equivalent of “Christian,” that is, just a description of one’s religion. I don’t think she erred at all.
The idea that American troops be placed under the command of the Saudis is no better than, say, placing them under the command of the Spanish Inquisition, and should generate fear and loathing.
