People in the north can’t survive with no power or heat in a polar vortex either! They should be going door to door handing out blankets or something. It’s insane.
Some without internet or cell phone service too, and lots of broken branches from the ice storm.
140,000 or so without power in Portland – and it was down to 25 or so, which cold for Portland.
Saw another post here that said the power plants in Texas weren’t winterized. Now that’s something they could do better.
But yeah, ice storms seem to knock out power in every state, if trees go down.
