      As in the Russian response could be about exacting a true retribution against those with a measure of responsibility for ordering the attack, or making it happen.

      Any idea what the Ukrainians used to hit the rigs in Odessa?  Just curious if it was those missile launchers the U.S. sent them.

        @rybar update on Snake Island

        “A unit of tactical aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as foreign cannon and rocket artillery stationed in the Odessa region, continues to work along Zmeiny (Snake Island). Target designation is apparently (again) provided by the Bayraktar TB2 UAV.

        Despite the information from a Transistrian channel that out of the four Ukrainian planes that went to bomb Snake Island, only one returned, this does not mean anything. The Ukrainian Air Force maneuvers and constantly changes take-off and landing airfields in the Odessa, Nikolaev and Dnepropetrovsk regions, trying to avoid a retaliatory strikes.

        There is no smoke or fire on the island itself, but a tower is burning east of the island.

        Sources from Chornomorneftegaz (Oil&Gas company) report that Russian drilling rigs and block conductors at the Odessa field were hit. In Ukraine, the field is considered its exclusive economic zone.

        It is not clear whether the strike was carried out by tactical aircraft or whether it was a boat group of the Ukrainian Navy. It really could well have been a Ukrainian armored boat: on June 17, a similar attack was made on the Russian tugboat Vasily Bekh from the east side, 40 km east of Snake Island.

        This is the second attack on Russian civilian facilities in the Black Sea in a week. Apparently, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine decided to move from attempts to destroy the military potential of the RF Armed Forces to the maximum terror of civilian objects in the Black Sea region.

        If we add to this the narrative about the need to disable the Crimean bridge, which is carefully dispersed in the Ukrainian information field, then we can draw a completely logical conclusion: the Armed Forces of Ukraine will rely on strikes on civilian infrastructure and dual-use facilities to achieve a psychological effect. But the Armed Forces of Ukraine are moving away from direct military confrontation.”

      REST IN PIECES: Russian army DESTROYS NATO-gifted Ukrainian artillery on Black Sea’s Kubansky Island, from which Kiev’s forces were SHELLING Chornomorneftegaz drilling rigs AND Snake Island.
