But he picked a senile, conservative, sexual abusing idiot. Way to go Obama. You won it for Trump yet again.
So to find out what Biden as president will be like, look to Obama’s austerity for the middle class reign.
So we will get: Social Security Cuts, extension of tax giveaways to the filthy rich, free trade agreements like the TPP to undermine unions, workers and minimum wage, more “free” trade and hyper capitalism for the middle class, incrementalism, austerity for the middle class, destruction of grass root progressive movements like Occupy, richer rich people, poorer poor people, bailouts for the rich, you know a lot like what we have with Trump but less racism.

The difference will be:
A Biden presidency will find it REALLY easy to pass Republican policies, and call them victories because ‘stuff’s getting done’ and ‘Democrats did it.’
A Trump presidency may find it more difficult to pass those policies, because – insert laughter here, yes, I know – the Democratic Party is an opposition party, and will stymie and oppose those policies at every turn.

It’s obvious to me that his primary concerns were keeping Bernie out of the White House and preventing progressives from taking over the Vichy Democrat Party and changing it to a more populist, social democratic party. That might lead to an outbreak of real democracy, and the oligarchy of which Obama is a part does not want to see that.
Trump’s an inconvenience. The populist movement Bernie energized is an existential threat.

I truly hope not. Then what is shocking? Sanders, leader of a well funded campaign and anti establishment revolutionary movement, decides to allow the king of the establishment to talk him into folding to a career establishment tool who has dementia and a current rape allegation that looks more legitimate by the day.
But if you’ve been paying attention that won’t be the least bit shocking either.
