the correct response is “thou sayest it” rather than claiming the crown of thorns and bragging about how great it is to be the son of god, even if he never gave you anything.

You should calmly accept it when a prime minister tells you that your offer to buy Greenland is ‘absurd’. Don’t take the rejection personally if you are “king of the Jews”.

They are called 'human' rights not "if politicians do not feel threatened" rights. Many politicians see national sovereignty/security as more important because they protect their power and wealth. Human rights often do just the opposite.

National issues (slavery/racism, income inequality, pandemics and pathetic health care, weak unions) are not solved with more states' rights. Global problems (climate change, migration, trade, war, pandemics) are not resolved with more national sovereignty.

If somebody is calling himself “king of the jews” and “the second coming of God”, then you have basically three options….

      1. He’s batshit crazy. Invoke the 25th Amendment now.
      2. He’s actually telling the truth. Which would NOT speak very well of my Former Employer
      3. He’s my son, the Antichrist.

Let’s rule out #3 right away. I’ve seen pictures of Cheeto’s mother, and there’s no amount of alcohol in the world that would have allowed me to have carnal relations with that! No possible way the Orange Imbecile is my kid.

If Cheeto’s statements were correct, then my Former Employer owes the entire human race an apology, and he should not only restore my place in Heaven immediately, but also immediately abdicate His Holy Throne and name me as his replacement.  Given that this is about as likely as a blizzard in Hell by tomorrow morning, then I’m assuming Cheeto pulled these references entirely out of his enormous orange ass.

So option #1 it is. Invoke the 25th amendment and LOCK HIM UP – in a padded cell.

Trump is trolling the MSM and all the TDSers out there who hang on everything he says. And what he does works!

      I’m laughing at them.

This is what happens when you focus on who’s the president and what he’s saying/doing rather than ignoring him and strictly presenting progressive policies. And I expect it to keep happening. People never learn.

Yea, he’s trolling. It’s just hard to say if he does this stuff instinctively or if there is any planning behind it. Either way, he’s been running the same formula for years at this point, and it never seems to fail. He just tweets/says something offensive/ridiculous, then sits back and gleefully watches the predictable outrage, and ultimately emerges unscathed, while everyone else looks like fools for sinking to his level. And yes, they never learn. Policy discussion just gets lost in the madness, but I’d argue that the msm is complicit, more or less.

It is going to be difficult for dems to play the “Trump is losing his mind” card so long as Biden is the alleged front runner. Many of his gaffes have been Trump level bizarre, and it’s just getting worse. When Biden walks off the debate stage mid-sentence, telling the audience, “I gotta go. I’m late for brunch with Strom Thurmund,” then what will they do?

It is #2.  Southern Baptist call it magical thinking.  Trump believes he can make it come true.  Trolls gonna troll.
