besides the ones we know support it. If you know of any names, please share them; let’s write or call ’em. And email addresses or the like would be great.
Thanks!

Not sure how persuadable, but he did stand up on the previous round. His website form for emails is at https://www.cornyn.senate.gov/node/5853 ; his phone is (202) 224-2934.

He never cared much for Cheeto in the first place, and let’s be honest about it, probably is calculating that making this move would make him look better for a possible run for the Presidency in 2024. And after seeing the footage of him being herded through the halls of the Capitol, trying to escape the terrorists, he looked like he might have been on the verge of crapping his Holy Underwear.

Here’s what some pundits say:
Sens. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.)
Pat Toomey (R-Pa.)
Sens. Mitt Romney (R-Utah)
Susan Collins (R-Maine)
Here’s who voted with dems on the constitutionality issue
“Republican Sens. Susan Collins (Maine), Lisa Murkowski (Alaska), Mitt Romney (Utah), Ben Sasse (Neb.), Bill Cassidy (R-La.), and Pat Toomey (Pa.) declared that the trial was constitutional”

This was over before it began. It’s just a distraction from the already ongoing failures and betrayals of the Biden Administration.

Like others have said, this is all just deflection and distraction. Also, IMO, no one anyone can call really cares what any of us thinks. They have no need to do that.

Maybe Ben Sasse, and as Satan mentioned, maybe John Cornyn. There may be a couple of others, but no way there’s 17.

Death, taxes, and Trump being acquitted are sure things, as is the Biden Administration failing to deliver on those $2000 checks that were supposed to go out “immediately.” Yesterday, I forced myself to watch Rachel, glutton for punishment that I am, just to see what the Vichy Dems are pontificating about. It was mostly breathless coverage of the Senate trial with a dollop of an investigation in Georgia about Trump’s phone call to election officials trying to round up more votes. Yes, deflection and distraction of the highest order. It would be wonderful to see Trump suffer some consequences. It would also be wonderful to see that $2000 check. I’ll be standing at my window looking up to see pigs flying by. Then I’ll know both are happening.

Last I heard, they are embracing the Marjorie Taylor Greene INSANE wing of the party.

the Democrats will be lucky to hold onto those five or six Republicans. Schoen pointed out, not only the hypocrisy, but some deception by Democrats. (The careful editing of at least one video).
According to the lawyer on ABC, the tables were turned against the Democrats today, Friday.
This impeachment is over.

Vote for conviction and lose the Trumpie wing of the party in the primaries.
Vote to acquit and lose the moderate wing of the party.
Either way, who wins? The Democrats.
They aren’t going to lose any of their voters to the Republicans because of this trial whether Trump is convicted or not. Whereas, the Republican pols are very likely to lose votes to the Democrats because of it.

but Trump’s lawyer David Schoen didn’t do any favors for the Democrats with his two videos today.
Instead of focusing on defending Trump, he spent more time attacking the hypocrisy of the Democrats. Both parties will come out of this impeachment scarred and the nation will be more divided than before.

and Republican senators are cowardly afraid of Trump. All I see are cowards who will let dear leader Trump off. I look for 4 maybe 5 to do the right thing, but not holding my breath that they’re be more.
