It’s brainwashed and desperate USA, 30% full of “I got mine FU” citizens.  They so f-ing delusional they’re walking into their own mass deaths which leaves the other 70% of us to daily think “good, die and go away so we can open up society again”.

It’s amazing it’s come to this but inevitable in a culture that worships predatory behavior in every aspect of life.  Personally, I’d like to see “republicanism” recognized for what it is, a constellation of mental health symptoms that result in delusional and empathy-incapable behaviors and for those affected to be treated.  But, since that will never happen in our predatory insurance country, those diseased/disordered non-treated patients will now be walking into their own death traps of covid-19 and risking all of our lives in the process.

Here’s what kids should recite in school now, based on The Pledge of Allegiance that was recited years ago:  I pledge allegiance to the made in China flag of the non-united delusional states of America and the brainwashed republic for which is stands, one corrupt nation under predatory capitalism, easily divisible and led to suicide, with liberty and justice for those few whom can afford it.

Their swift and careful attack to contain and eliminate the virus worked. They haven’t had a new infection in weeks.

I find it interesting that many in the media are calling what New Zealand did austerity measures. What a bunch of BS. What Wisconsin is doing is austerity. They are about to overrun their hospitals, needlessly kill hundreds and ruin lives forever just so corporate rulers can make a buck.

Leave Wisconsin cities if you can. Isolate yourself as much as possible. Wear masks and wash your hands. It’s about to get way out of hand in Wisconsin. I am so sorry for the real people in Wisconsin.

      Hi n4s,

Good job – That re-framed “Pledge of Allegiance” aptly describes what America has been for decades.  Best to recognize reality for what it is and not for what it is imagined to be.  For all practical purposes, America is dead.

This kind of stampede make sense in Wisconsin. I was born & raised there, and I appreciate their love of taverns, drinking in taverns, socializing in taverns, watching sports (Packers!) in taverns, fighting in taverns, passing out in taverns, giving birth in taverns, basically living an entire life in a tavern.

@hasslecat Just don’t do what one friend of mine did and show up in a Vikings hat. Do that now and they’ll spit on you and you’ll be exposed to the Covid for sure.

I know many of us comment in disgust. Some say “yeah, asshole… go out and party!”… Yet, others say, “NO! I don’t want you to party and spread it by vector to countless people who were clueless as to your decisions!

Hell, no... I'm not giving up...

What we do have is a bunch of rich incompetents, thinking they are seeing a chance to get even richer by killing off those that need help the most. Often their own workers.

We are an arrogant species, believing our fantasy based "facts" are better than the other person's fake facts.

I keep seeing these posts saying Republicans are going to go out, catch the virus, and die.

No they won’t. Majority that get infected won’t even have symptoms. Of the ones that do, most won’t get seriously sick. And few will die. The death rate of SARS-COV2 is less than 1% if you factor in asymptomatic cases.

The bigger problem is those who go out and party could come home and spread it to more at-risk family members. The virus essentially uses healthy people as a carrier to jump from person to person until it gets to someone older or weaker immune system. Then it strikes hard.
