Women's March causes Stack Overflow in Hilbots' reality subroutines
On Thursday, the organizers of the Women’s March on Washington released a list of 27 women who “paved the way for us to march.” It didn’t take long for people to notice that there was one big name missing from the roster: Hillary Clinton.GloriaMundi, DoctorJ, nc4bo and 16 othersShlabotnik, The Crone, IdaBriggs, Pastiche, Ichingcarpenter, Spanishprof27, frylock, Babel 17, A little weird, xynthee, area woman, Rider, Fasttense, h-32, djean111, Ferd Berfel like this

1. A woman attending the march once said something not wonderful about Hilary.
Therefore the whole march is a right-wing conspiracy to make progressives who like to get regressive things done look bad.

13. Yep. Anybody who may have ever had an impure thought about Her→..

2. They are flinging themselves all over the place like
Children throwing Tantrums. They worship her like a queen or something, I’ve never seen anything like it. Something makes me believe that the ones who pray to God, pray for Hillary before themselves and their families, they are that derange and unhinged. They ignored all reality that she was the weaker candidate and forced her on us, and then even after she lost, in her derange supporters minds she “Won” because she got more popular votes. I can’t stand them they are worst than Trump supporters in their self-delusion.
Her name is not on a list, well boo-freaking-hoo.

29. Saint Hillary of Walmart, our Blessed Lady of Inevitability
and the Affluent Fruit of her Womb, Chelsea.
Now repent, you left-leaning worm! The power of Debbie and Donna commands you! And Tom too."Someone hacks the DNC allowing all of America to see how the DNC operates as one of the most corrupt political machines in national history. Ergo, Hillary Clinton should be installed as President by judicial fiat. And if you do not agree to this scheme you deserve to be brought up on charges of treason because fascism." - NUGrrl, december 2016 “Once a person has been determined to be an UNTRUSTWORTHY LIAR, their pretend stances on important issues are simply not relevant to rational discussion.” – Ida Briggs, September 2016

3. Good for them. Seriously.
Hillary has a lot of dead women and children to answer for.You think the only reason that people won't vote for a warmongering Third Way fracking-enabling cluster bomb throwing H-1B increasing lying pandering corporate and Wall Street shill who says she has no problem putting abortion rights on the table is because we are mad about Bernie? Um, nope.

4. I can't figure out why they needed a list of honorees in the first place.
Wasn’t this march supposed to be about about issues – not personalities?

8. Identity politics can disrupt real issues
Quicker than the shake of a lamb’s tail.
So, if you start listing names and identities associated with the issues, no matter how minor the association, you can throw a wrench into the organization’s plans to gather participants.

6. I'm suprised none of them have keeled over from apoplexy.
The way some of them are having total meltdowns over this.I won't shut up and I don't waste my time teaching pigs to sing

7. Geraldine Ferraro should be on there before Hillary. Or Susan Cady Stanton
Or Susan B Anthony or Rosa Parks or…
It’s just another way to take a jab at Bernie as far as I can tell – they’ve seized on the ONE organizer out of all of them who was a Bernie supporter and are bitterly blaming herIf not now, when?

22. It's Elizabeth Cady Stanton
I understand the mix-up though, and I’m not nitpicking, but she’s my hero! What fresh hell is this?

24. Far from a dork my friend!
Have you ever read her essay “Solitude Of Self”?
I read it for the first time when I was about 12, and it hit me like no other piece ever had, or has to this day. I love this woman so much!
Ken Burns also did a film years ago about Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth entitled “Not For Ourselves Alone” It’s available on Amazon.
If you’ve never seen it Rider, I know you’d love it!What fresh hell is this?

9. She was not the first woman to run for President…
More importantly her stand for women’s rights is only for rich women – not those of us who would have equality and change.
This is the first woman to run for President
Women have been working for equality for a very long time. We have not JUST found our voice, we have been trying to have our voice heard for a long time in America.
As the women march today I hope they remember many have come before them, fought and paid a price for that fight for today’s women to be able to march today and be heard.
A free thinker, Victoria Woodhull created Woodhull and Claflin’s Weekly, a radical publication, in 1870 with her sister, Tennessee. The publication gave the sisters a place to express their ideas on social reforms, including women’s suffrage, birth control and free love. The journal also published the first English translation of Karl Marx’s The Communist Manifesto.
A strong supporter of women’s rights, Woodhull often spoke publicly on behalf of women’s suffrage, and even addressed Congress on the issue. Seeking to be more politically active, establishing the Equal Rights Party, and shortly thereafter, for the U.S. presidency on the political group’s ticket in 1872. There is some evidence that abolitionist Frederick Douglass ran as her running mate, but it is unclear how involved he really was in the campaign. No matter the case, the election turned sour, with Woodhull publicly fighting with her critics in her publication.
Woodhull became a target for public scrutiny because of her many relationships and radical ideas. She was first married at 15 to Canning Woodhull with whom she had two children. The couple later divorced, and Woodhull married twice more and was reported to have numerous relationships. Her public remarks about sexuality and social reforms were also held against her. And her support of socialism—a political and economic philosophy that was considered radical at the time—may have alienated some, as well.#Let'sTalkRevolution

10. What a stupid thing to get upset about
I understand that some women find her inspiring even if I don’t quite understand why. But she has not “paved the way for us to march” or been a leader in the “fight for our freedom”. That’s the description they used for the women they chose as honorees. Plus there’s the fact that she is a divisive person. People seem to either love her or hate her. I don’t see how having her on that list could have done any good at all. But I agree that it was unnecessary to even have a list because there’s bound to be objections to who is included and/or left off.

11. Watching it now on CSPAN.
Some good speeches. Some go a little too touchy feely, rah rah aren’t we great for my taste.
Did Michael Moore get bum rushed off the stage when he said “We have to take over the Democratic Party” by Ashley Judd? She performed a powerful poem “I am a nasty woman”? Maybe it was a setup? Maybe not. I don’t know. I does seem that the
Van Jones was powerful with a strong inclusive message. Sister Simone Campbell also inspirational. “Be curious, learn about your neighbors.”
Part of me wants to be there, part of me says “I’ve heard this song before. Nothing ever comes of this.”
I just don’t want to hear them chant “this is what Democracy looks like”. The fact is that unless a political party can appeal to a majority of people in a majority of states it is destined to lose. That’s democracy.

26. Hillary Super Supporters refuse to see that.
In my women’s group in early January, one of them broke down over how Evil it is that Trump is. She began crying uncontrollably. I can’t figure it out at all, can you? Unless maybe she was molested as a child, and her molester was boorish and loud spoken.
My family member who attempted to molest me was Obama-like. Loved by all, soft spoken, a leader in the community.
I think that is why Obama soon got on my nerves. Wars in seven countries, and behind the super-heist of Main Street’s economy, resulting in 11 million foreclosures. Yet he is so soft-spoken and “decent” — supposedly loved by all. Makes me wanna barf."Let us not seek the Republican answer nor the Democratic answer but the right answer." John F. Kennedy America is the only country that has real lemons in its furniture polish, and artificial lemon flavoring in its lemonade!

28. Seriously, I thought that about some of the drama from the speakers
at the Women’s March.
For example, the one who alluded to the ugly rumor that Trump has an infatuation with Ivanka – wasn’t she molested as a child? I hate to speak harshly of her, because she’s done so much philanthropic work around the world with people with AIDS, and that’s a cause dear to my heart, but I feel it would be sort of dishonest of me not to point that out in response to your post.
In other words, that her own experience being sexually abused as a child must mean, in her mind, that EVERY child is being sexually abused, if it even kind of sorta LOOKS like it COULD be that way. Preposterous, IMO, but understandable maybe. The opinions and views expressed herein are solely those of the author.

15. they're MAD that Berta Caceres is on the list
Leaving Hillary Clinton off this list is further proof of how we tell women:
— Charles Clymer (@cmclymer) January 20, 2017
Sole reason Berta Caceres is there because of their conspiratorial bull shit that Hillary had her killed.
well, and she blamed Clinton before she was killed by forces unleashed by the coup that Clinton repeatedly ignored warnings to stop breaking the law in order to support, but whatevs

17. Something that must stick in their craw…
Shirley Chisolm was ten times the progressive than Hillary has ever pretended to be. Put her name on a ballot today, and she would beat Mizz Hilly by 10%, even though Chisolm’s been dead for 12 years.
I’ll let a character from a television show that is more popular than Clinton explain Clinton’s unpopularity:
Stannis Baratheon: The Iron Throne is mine. By right. All those that deny that are my foes.
Renly Baratheon: The whole realm denies it from Dorne to the Wall. Old men deny it with their death rattle and unborn children deny it in their mothers’ wombs. No one wants you for their king. You never wanted any friends, brother, but a man without friends is a man without power.
What if I want to tell you to leave me and my beloved ones in peace
But you only understand the language of the sword
I let the blade do the talking
So my tongue shall become iron
And my words the mighty roar of war

25. But at least the queen bee in a bee hive
Contributes to bee society. It is after all, her offspring that propagate the species.
Her Highness is someone who is slowly wiping out the human species. And her generals were all enthused about the coming war with Russia. One of them even published a book in which he stated that war with Russia was a necessity and should be underway by Summer of 2017. Such a war would become nuclear, and then how many of us would be around for any honey consuming?

18. The march was about all women and rights and peace and opportunity.
Actually I saw very few herself signs. Most understood and those who wanted a pity party — well — go have a coffee together and be pitiful! We have emotional freedom. I had a lot of dark days in the primaries. I am moving on.

31. So much drama…
It didn’t take her long to get her minions to
cast her as a victim again. They should list
the numbers of women and children she was
responsible for killing. Few women would make her list.
Hey Mr. Trump.
Sometimes you're the windshield, and sometime you're the bug.
You're looking pretty buggy to me. Carry on please, your windshield is coming.
