    Women's March in Haines, Alaska

I love this, maybe even more than the huge crowds in the big cities.

        3. I know.

This just warms my heart.  I thought we were pretty awesome showing up here in Anchorage with our almost record-breaking snowfall today, but at least we didn’t have wind like this.

      4. I lived in Haines for awhile many years ago….

These are tough people. President Pence and his court jester Trump along with his billionaire cabinet are in for a big surprise. The people are waking up.

        5. Haines is a beautiful little town.

We drove down there a few years ago, spent a couple days and nights, and then caught the ferry to Juneau and Sitka.  The location is breathtaking, and the people were so nice.  On the way back, we went on to Skagway and then drove that amazing White Pass and almost killed our truck overheating going up that long, long grade.  Good times…

          15. The road out of Skagway didn't even exist when I lived in Southeast.

There used to be a bakery in Haines that made the best damn donuts I’ve ever tasted. That was 44 long years ago.

that the next time I’m at a Seattle rally. It’s really not so bad here even in winter.

        22. Photobucket wants $400/yr for direct link now.

They unlinked every picture anyone ever linked through them.

Their new name ought to be Photophucket.

          24. I'm uploading to Flickr now,

although I’m not quite as comfortable with it as I was with Photobucket.  But I’ll be damned if I’m going to pay PB all that money.  I hope they lose all their customers.

          25. They must have been bought out by greedy Republican oligarchs

Who want us to stop using photos on the internet to mock them.

There’s a fantastic opportunity right there for a young enterprising new company to provide the same service for free like photobucket did for so many years.

They’re not the only game in town!!
