Of course. Biden (the hostage) met with Manchin (the hostage taker) last week, and Manchin gets rewarded for his thuggery with the prize he most desired.

Senator Joe Manchin is already a crucial swing vote in the Democrats’ sweeping budget bill. But he will also write the details of its climate change program.

      Sept. 19, 2021, 3:01 p.m. ET

WASHINGTON — Joe Manchin, the powerful West Virginia Democrat who chairs the Senate energy panel and earned half a million dollars last year from coal production, is preparing to remake President Biden’s climate legislation in a way that tosses a lifeline to the fossil fuel industry — despite urgent calls from scientists that countries need to quickly pivot away from coal, gas and oil to avoid a climate catastrophe.

But Mr. Manchin is also closely associated with the fossil fuel industry. His beloved West Virginia is second in coal and seventh in natural gas production among the 50 states. In the current election cycle, Mr. Manchin has received more campaign donations from the oil, coal and gas industries than any other senator, according to data compiled by OpenSecrets, a research organization that tracks political spending.

He profits personally from polluting industries: He owns stock valued at between $1 million and $5 million in Enersystems Inc., a coal brokerage firm which he founded in 1988. He gave control of the firm to his son, Joseph, after he was elected West Virginia secretary of state in 2000. Last year, Mr. Manchin made $491,949 in dividends from his Enersystems stock, according to his Senate financial disclosure report.

How humiliating and devastating to Democrats, our nation and the world. Yeah, Joe (Biden), I’d say this is “Code Red.”

Of course, so is Biden, so this development is no surprise. It will also be no surprise when the faux-progressive Democrats in Congress vote for whatever pathetically inadequate or even dangerous monstrosity Manchin invents, and do nothing to stop it from being passed into law.

I do not see enough defecting on theta joke of a bi-partisan bill to get passed.

Manchin and Sinema helped slash out almost 80% of the new spending and green tax incentives

Biden proposed 2.6 trillion (2.2 in new spend and 400 billion in tax incentives)

plus the 650 billion in re-upping pre-existing programmes

the final bill has only 550 billion in new spend, zero tax incentives + the 650 billion in renewals

they gutted the fuck out of it

        stripped out 2.05 trillion usd

now Manchin and Sinema want to strip out ANOTHER 2 to 2.5 trillion usd out from the reconciliation bill

instead of a total for both bills of around 6.8 trillion usd

it is tracking to only 2.2 to 2.7 trillion usd for BOTH combined

massive gutting, including so so much of Biden’s agenda will be in tatters on the cutting room floor

most all of his big signature frontline programmes and promises trashed trashed trashed

2022 will (it already was looking really bad) a fucking bloodbath if that happens

        overall he is staring at

        almost no climate change shite

        no 15 usd minimum wage

        no Dreamer resolution

        no free community college

no paltry 10K usd student loan debt reduction

        no voter protection bills

        no public option

no pharma price negotiation allowed for the US government (Sinema just killed that dead)

        tax increases on wealth gone

vastly reduced other income tax increase, same for cap gains tax increases

        massive systemic wealth basically untouched

        almost zero real police reform

        Cuba engagement in the shitter

        childcare aid in tatters

working poor housing aid in tatters

        universal preschool in tatters

        offshore tax penalties in tatters

        racial justice initiatives in tatters

it is looking like a fucking nightmare

Because Joe Biden is a Fascist and always has been. He believes in the merger of corporate and government power. The so-called progressives who continue to support him are Fascist enablers at best.

Yeah, it’s bad. And it’s going to get a lot worse.

The voters of only ONE party still believe in CENTRISM. Let me let you guess which party?

Sure as HELL ain’t the Republiscum: they went off the rails on a crazy train, a decade ago with Tea Party shenanigans.

No, only the Dummycraps are brainwashed enough to believe that such a thing as centrism or bipartisanship is still possible.

This reminds me… I started by day by trying to call the WH to complain about this and every other bullshit policy Biden’s allowed and manifested himself. He’s too mentally damaged to suffer for it. You couldn’t get near enough to tell him what you and yours think.

At the beginning of this year, there was ZERO White House phone operations. I complained a shit-load. Now, we have the WH taking our complaints, but you have to call Tuesday through Friday from 11 AM to 3 PM Eastern to do it.

Of course, you see where this is going, Mr. & Mrs. America…

Hell, no... I'm not giving up...

What I don’t understand is that they still bother to let

shitocrats write the bills. Why don’t they just ask their

friends across the isle to do it right away.
