The world should make it clear to Russia that it would have to face immediate military response if it decides to use nuclear arms against Kiev, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky told CBC and CTV broadcasters in an interview this week. The Ukrainian leader accused Russia of using “terrorist” blackmail tactics and said that Moscow only understands the language of force.

Zelensky accused Moscow of repeatedly threatening to strike “decision-making centers” in Ukraine, including with nuclear arms and said that the world should respond if such a strike does take place. “It does not matter if Ukraine is a NATO member or a non-NATO nation,” he said, adding that no one should be allowed to “blackmail [other nations] like a terrorist.”

According to the Ukrainian president, the world should tell the Russians: “If you strike Bankova Street [the Ukrainian President’s Office], there will be a strike at where you are.”

If Moscow does strike Kiev, there should be “a strike at the decision-making centers” in Russia the next “second,” regardless of the results of the Russian attack, he added. Such a stance would be, in turn, not a blackmail but a kind of self-defense that would supposedly prevent those issuing a threat from following through on their plans, Zelensky argued.

He’s bound to know that his allies in London, Paris and Berlin either are or will be facing social unrest that could drive them from power, and the first grumblings against the US giving him money carte blanche have begun with the congresscritters. He also knows his vaunted Ukrainian counter-offensive is bogging down in the rasputitsa(the mud time) while the sky fills with snow and the Russians move substantial reinforcements to the front in preparation for their own winter offensive.

I give him eight months. Either to flee Ukraine with misbegotten millions to retire in luxury in some place like Belize, or to be assassinated by his own hard-liners or the CIA because he has become inconvenient.

Whatever he does, the US just wants Russia’s reaction as an excuse to  openly enter the war.  IMO, the US does not care what Zelensky does, they just want him to provoke Russia.  The US is master of false flags, maybe Zelensky has a list.  He knows that HE will be okay.  FFS,  Zelensky (hey, if western media can now refer to Russian soldiers as “Putin’s men”, then I can return the favor) actually hit the evacuating civilians with a missile.  They really do not think of ethnic Russians as human beings.  Nazis to the core, and the US is backing them and cheering them on.

Oh, this week’s Democrat talking point – Trump would have been even more dangerous than Biden.  Nope.  And that’s yet another sickening thing – all this death and destruction is, or at least one of the reasons for ramping it up, is merely for election campaign pandering.

In the beginning,he might have,@djean111,but he is just an American puppet now.Whatever he is saying is what the US has told him to say.For reasons he does not and probably will never know. He thinks the US is helping his country.

Little does he know he and his country are”only a pawn in their game”.

because he knows that nothing he does will be too terrible for the purposes of the West.  Ever notice that he personally never looks the least bit sincerely shaken – because he does all of his “appearances” from a green screen studio.  On the other hand, Patrick Lancaster always looks terrified, because he is actually there.  As opposed to that BBC reporter huddling in a “trench under fire” while a woman carrying some bags, in the background, looks at him quizzically.

Sounds to me like that Zelensky character is getting desperate.

I certainly hope not, but I think a false flag or two is coming. Ukraine is getting desperate as is the West. As winter approaches with 300,000 Russian troops mobilizing, Zelensky is getting nervous.

I have also heard that Shoigi and Macron had discussed it, and that Shoigu is talking with other heads of defense, including the US and England.

With hope, maybe there are still a few sane people.

And the Western press all use the exact same script – no, Russia is mistaken.

For those who think that there are no dirty bombs in Ukraine – IMO, the US/UK/NATO would not hesitate for one millisecond to give Zelensky a dirty bomb.  FFS, the US and UK have used Depleted Uranium ammunition on people, on human beings.  Anyone who thinks they would hesitate over a dirty bomb is cripplingly naive.  And always remember which country used nuclear bombs on people, on civilians, when it did not need to, just to warn Russia?

        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atomic_bombings_of_Hiroshima_and_Nagasaki

The United States detonated two atomic bombs over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on 6 and 9 August 1945, respectively. The two bombings killed between 129,000 and 226,000 people, most of whom were civilians, and remain the only use of nuclear weapons in armed conflict.

IMO, the US would not hesitate to do this again, particularly if it can use Zelensky as a scapegoat.  Zelensky is starting to look petulant, which is scarier to me than anger.  Zelensky wants his day in the sun as a hero, as the guy who took Putin out.  And, like a teenager’s as yet not fully developed thinking, Zelensky does not, IMO, consider the consequences for doing anything at all; like our government, Zelensky and his Nazis are using Ukrainian civilians and ethnic Russian civilians as mere cannon fodder.

Ask anyone who uses cocaine non-stop, they’ll vouch for this.

And like Richard Pryor said, cocaine isn’t addictive, he’s got friends who’ve been using it every day for years and they’re still not hooked.
