I never got my activation key, or I got it but it didn't work, what do I do?
You should receive an activation key in your email shortly after signing up. In rare instances the email doesn't go through. This could happen for a number of reasons. Please first check your spam folder for an email from JackpineRadicals.

If you haven't received the registration key in an hour or so after signing up, OR if you received it and are having trouble activating your account, please email us from the account you signed up with at [email protected]. Include the username you signed up with.

Hey! Where's all the stuff from the old site?
Sigh. In an ideal world, we'd move everything over, but it ain't an ideal world - moving things from our old platform to our new one is quite a challenge - both have database architecture's designed by Louis Gohmert. We figured we'd start by migrating only user names and emails to the new site, then add other info, like posts, as it makes sense. Meanwhile, the previous site is still open for reference.

At this time, images can't be directly uploaded from your computer and must be hosted somewhere on the internet, or in your JPR Gallery. Or, use the editor menu and paste the image url in the Source field.

Can I mention someone - like on Facebook?
You can use the @ sign before a username to mention someone. This will create a link to their profile page and will create a notification for them with a link to your post. To do this simply add the @ sign before their name. Omit any spaces in usernames - i.e. bernie sanders would be @berniesanders. You can find a member's @mention name next to their avatar on their profile page. To get to a member's profile page, click on their avatar or blue-linked name.

How do I send a private message?
To send someone a private message you can click on the envelope next to their name in one of their forum posts. Or you can go to your inbox and select Compose from the subnav.

To get to your inbox either click on the 'inbox' link in the upper right corner of the site, or go to My JPR > Messages > Compose.

You can message multiple people at once by separating their names with a comma.

NOTE: if the person has spaces in their name, you will need to remove them when adding them to the 'Send To' field.
