I expect this is why the Aliens don’t think it’s worth that we know about them. We are too much lizard brained. Pretty soon Biden will start making sense.

When I was a kid, the adults muttered about the Pope being the de facto president. They thought JFK would impose his religious beliefs on the nation. Now we have exactly that, with the end of reproductive freedom and approval of taxpayer funding of religious education. The Roman Catholic Church makes the laws now. What do you think is next? I…[Read more]

She starts from the apparent assumption that most women who choose abortion just need some ‘support’ defined as what they provide at a ‘caring pregnancy center’ (which doesn’t include support for the child for 20+ years).
But half the women in the country make in the neighborhood of minimum wage.
This woman and her sister are on their way to…[Read more]

@satan you’re right, but good luck ever getting any of them to admit it. Somewhere within they probably know the truth of their own hypocrisy, but it is much easier to pretend there is no such thing, you know?
The majority of opposition to abortion, LGBTQ rights, hell, women’s rights, black rights, etc. Always seems to come from those who c…[Read more]

I’d also like to live in a culture that provides effective education so that women can make smart and wise decisions for their sexual health — have the information they need to avoid potential negative consequences of premature sex. There needs to be better education on the risks of sexually transmitted diseases, unplanned pregnancy and the…

This illustrates the problem. This woman comes on as a nice, loving Catholic girl who just wants women to not fear an unplanned pregnancy. But she makes it clear she wants much more, an end to premarital sex, for example. This is what it’s all about.

Many people are trying to help residents of Uvalde feel better. I guess that’s OK but I hope people there and everywhere don’t deny their justifiable anger.

Another exorcism gone wrong. in the forum Atheist/Humanist/Non-Religious 10 months ago
First of all, we don’t even do possessions anymore. That’s so 12th century. And even when we did, it wasn’t kids. What would be the point, you can’t take kids to Hell anyway?
Sure, “The Exorcist” made for some great movie drama, but – as Ronald Reagan would say – it’s just an interesting work of fiction.

I guess I never heard of an exorcism going right, but most of them don’t involve the death of a child. This one did.
