Why you would use this method of seeding?

    1. sure!

Some people have spots in their garden that are hard to reach or hard to plant in.

    2. I wanted to add this

We did seed balls in a garden class I did in Jersey City. The students and I kept a map of what we threw and where. The students were so excited about seeing the plants spring to life!  We had cucumbers growing along iron fences, and sunflowers and zinnias growing in vacant lots. It was fun to talk to people on the street about how a cucumber vine managed to spring up where one had never grown before.

The other side of the coin is that it was hard to see people abuse the plants, like throw cigarette butts where they were growing.
