    Best sounding plugin for guitar

I’ve tried almost every single one, 100s of them.  Before Xmas I bought Scuffham S-Gear on sale for $99.  It is the best sounding plugin I’ve ever heard.  So far, I’ve used it on electric guitar, keyboards, harmonica and vocals and it sounds like real guitar amps that have been mic’d and recorded — that’s the best way to describe it — it sounds real.

It comes with cabinet and mic emulations, a chorus/flanger, a delay and a reverb; all can be turned on/off and used individually and all are just as good as the real thing.  There’s no need for distortion boxes as the amps themselves distort heavily when needed.  The software is really easy to use and is the best one out there.  It comes with 100 presets for various genres and has room for 100 more user presets.

Hope this helps anyone who’s looking for a really good plugin.
