Looking for the two otters I saw on the pond the other day. No otters, but some nice light that I played around with.

Yes. At my wedding back in 1994, besides the regular photographer, who obviously followed the bride around, a good family friend, who was an excellent photographer himself, and as his wedding present to us, followed me around and took dozens of photos, all in black and white, which at the time I wasn’t sure why he wanted to do them in B/W, but now…[Read more]

The graffiti boys have upped their game. They are now using silver and gold paint.

Thanks for the kudos. If memory serves me, I think I went through nearly 300 shots on rapid fire to get shots like this. And I believe I bumped the ISO up to 400 or higher because it was getting dark. But it was just a matter of catching a flock flying across the moon perfectly as I was set-up on the tripod-panning across as a bunch flew by.

We’ve had great hoards of geese going over within the last couple of days. Maybe winter is finally coming.

However, this was from 3 years ago at a wildlife preserve that’s about 100 miles South of me. Another pic from this series that I shot made it into a 2018 calendar for a local credit union. Kinda cool to get published every now and then. All were shot on a Canon Eos Xsi 450d with a 400mm lens @ about 500 yards.
