• Update on weirdness

Update on site issues: (1. replies now need a title *and* something in the message box, 2. certain links are causing strange pop-ups on Apple devices, and 3. Some folks can't type anything into the text box.) Basically, a series of unfortunate events set us back on testing. We'll get to it as soon as we can, and hopefully things can get fixed by this weekend if not before.  More info: https://jackpineradicals.com/boards/topic/site-problems-more-info/

Today in history – July 12th

In this, the year of our Lord 1794, Lord Admiral Horatio Nelson lost his right eye in the Battle of Calvi, in Corsica.  Several years later at the Battle of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, his right arm went in search of his right eye, as they had formed a close personal bond and were secretly engaged to be married.  Nelson’s right eye, upon discovering that his right arm was already married and that his still-living wife was insane and chained in the attic, fled over the moors, never to be seen again.

On foggy nights on the moors, you can hear the Eye calling for the Arm, whose name was Heathcliff.

    Or something like that.
