      Now THIS is the way to run a legislature!

      In Taiwan, the legislature was debating a measure that would loosen restrictions on US pork products. The debate got heated and fist fights broke out. Then they started throwing pig intestines at each other. “Would you care for some chitlins and a punch?”

      A fight broke out between lawmakers. Pig guts were thrown (msn.com)

      In America if this sort of behavior was allowed I suspect it would escalate into mass shootings quickly…

      Fist fights are not unprecedented in the legislature in the US.

      In the mid 19th century, there were some violent outbursts. As far as I know, none of them involved pork products.
