      Is it punk?

      Some say the mc-5 were a punk band long before that label was applied to anybody. I surely do love the bass line in this one.

        Yes

        Definitely cited as an influence by later punk bands.

      To me, the MC5's three albums were like the Three Bears' porridge

      The first one (KICK OUT THE JAMS) was too hot, the second (BACK IN THE USA) too cold, and the third one (HIGH TIME) was just right (this link will stream it if you go there):
