I was singing an Everly Brothers song this morning – Walk Right Back – and my grandson said some of the songs I sing remind him of Fallout 4.  Which is kinda funny, really.  Anyway, he said his favorite starts with I Don’t Want to Set the World on Fire – and I started singing that.  So I found a complete playlist on YouTube, and anyone who loves popular music from the 30’s to the early 60’s would like this, I think.  I got a bit sidetracked listening to Frank Sinatra singing I’m a Fool to Want You – great sad backstory – but I will stream Sinatra tomorrow, right now, I love these songs, I had forgotten about them.  Born in 46, my dad had a great record collection.  An hour and 42 minutes, song list is provided.

I see from comments on You Tube that a lot of people look for songs from video games. Otherwise I wouldn’t know that’s a thing- I never play them. I wonder if the artists get paid once for use of the music or if they get part of the sales like they would from record sales? 🤔 I guess it’s probably a one time payment like a song used in a movie.

I really enjoyed the settlement building feature. The plot was good, tough deciding which faction to team up with near the end.

I also played the Fallout 76 which is an online multiplayer version but I don’t like playing games online as much as single player content.

Music & Artists Can Make Games Pop

This is a high level beginner version of how to find and compensate artists for music.  Lots more detail than I would have thought of.   I am glad there are ways for musicians to earn money for their work in other ways since the internet has replaced buying records and only hearing what Clear Channel wants us to hear.

even though the Minutemen and Railroad are better for the commonwealth.  Because grandson likes control.  He says yeah, the Minutemen want everyone to be happy and helped, they are the Socialists of the game, followed by the railroad, but they are always asking for stuff.  We would not want my grandson to be Emperor of the Universe; whatever game he is playing now, he likes playing as the Borg.  I am not a game player, although I do love Fandango – for the graphics and music, and American McGee’s Alice, also graphics and music.  Can’t even play them, because my old laptop has a crap video chip on the motherboard, not even a separate video card.  Flash makes it freeze.
