      Great stuff. You may or may not know that Harvey (among others) “auditioned” for the Rolling Stones in 1975. In reality, the Stones really wanted Woody all along, but he was still legally obligated to the Faces at the time, so they couldn’t officially draft him into the band yet.

      Harvey ended up on two tracks on the Black & Blue album: “Hot Stuff” and “Memory Motel”. The latter has always been the Devil’s favorite track on that record….
