He has no reason to believe that laws apply to himself, or that he will ever face the consequences for anything. Who does he think he is, Bill Clinton?

“Promises Biden kept” page. You will be astounded to know that Biden has not broken ANY promises, has kept a few, and most are “in the works”.
I feel sorry for Americans in general, and contempt for those who said Biden would be progressive – just give him a chance! , and pity for those who believed that.

donors? And I have always had the impression that if one is an elected Democrat, one does whatever the Party tells them to do, and that running without party support is difficult. The party can always primary them and/or not give them access to funding.

I got a magazine the other day that had a picture of Obama, something about a book or a podcast, he is sort of reclining, with that smug self-satisfied smirk on his face. The second time I flipped through the magazine and saw it, I had to rip the page out and trash it. POSUCS.

But rosemary and dijon mustard on pork chops sounds pretty good. And that is exactly what I am having for supper right now. If I had some cream I would make a sauce with the drippings and the mustard; I sauteed the chops with crushed rosemary and the aroma is wondrous.

Love the grapevines and the larkspur (?), too. Lupins? Which makes me think of Monty Python, so I will stop guessing.

about it, is just ridiculously delusional. All that’s left to see here is a treatise maundering on about history and votes and other such vote for the blue bullshit. With, perhaps, some gratuitous and meaningless attempt to blame it on Trump. Biden/Vichy Dems are blue dog centrist New Democrat austerity and war mongering liars. Get used to it.

AOC is now in the progressive bait’n’switch squad. She can do what Pelosi says and, evidently, still collect millions of dollars from her deluded fan club. Win-win for the Vichy Dems! Lose-lose for the rest of us.

making a pathetic showing in the rigged primaries. I sincerely doubt Harris cares what the voters think, anyway – why would the Vichy Dems start now? IMO, and, it seems, obviously, the next four years will be spent bleating TRUMP!!!!!! as a diversion from what the Vichy Dems are doing/not doing. Looks to me like the Democratic Party and th…[Read more]

Just ask Obama.
Looks like the next two years will be just vilifying the GOP and nothing about issues. Followed by two years of vilifying the GOP and noting about issues. Lather, rinse, repeat.

The Democratic Party has nothing to do with democracy. It fucking SAID so, in court, FFS. Our government has nothing to do with democracy or, really, we the people.
If Repugs do regain control it’s All Over.
The Democratic Party would be totally responsible for a GOP win. Of course, this is masked by what looks exactly like…[Read more]

I keep unsubscribing. Evidently the Vichy Dems are under an UNPRECEDENTED ATTACK FROM THE GOP!!!!!!! So Pelosi needs money right now!!!!
Those are bullshit questions, as we all know, and the Vichy Dems will not do anything that impacts their owners’ profits by so much as a penny.

At this rate, I may actually vote to get rid of Biden/Vichy Dem in 2024. I don’t have to worry about 2022 – Marco Rubio and Vern Buchanan should be shoo-ins, and I will not ever vote for Vichy Dems again. Which should cover the governor race.

djean111 replied to the topic House Democrats, Targeting Right-Wing Cable Outlets, Are Assaulting Core Press Freedoms (Glenn Greenwald) in the forum General Discussion 4 days ago
Easier to put censorship in place with a target that the Democratic Party really does not mind, because they can run against the right wing, as opposed to running on policies and issues and records. Progressive democrats will cheer for all of this, until the progressive ox is “legally” gored. IMO, that’s why AOC is the face of this effort. Us…[Read more]

centrists win. The policies they enact, the war and austerity and steady chipping away at the safety net – we are not supposed to even pay attention to that, much less even mention it. when it comes to voting in national elections. The “why bother” effect. The more that happens, the more likely a third party will gain ground. With voter outreach, of course. Biden is not going to provide good change any more than Trump did, and IMO people are going to take more notice.
