Privately held corporation and all that.

The corporate rot is so embedded in the political sphere that we’re unable to fix anything
So the guy who’s only major transportation experience was throwing Bernie under the bus in 2015 is not having that man take him to task for his lack of any fixes.
Pretty amazing how Bernie appears to be not only the better president, and given current s…

It is merely that what you posted seems a “vast, right wing conspiracy”, and Hillary did blame Bill’s pecadillos coming to light on that; later, it was Putin and Assange, for her own deeds coming to light, and her losses. Always, someone else is to blame. Anyway, I was reminded of that, because she said it. And Hillary will always represent th…[Read more]

I do think American democracy was subverted quite a long time ago. and “investigations” are just theater.

We know about corruption and soldness on the right. What some of us are saying is that we do not recognize having to choose between left and right as a viable or useful choice any more. “Lesser evil” does not work any more. And neither does “not voting for the Democrats is voting for the GOP”, if that is what you are inferring. IMO, the Demo…[Read more]

more outrageous lies, still slanted in the same direction. US/UK/NATO are going to be the most vicious losers imaginable, in every way.

djean111 replied to the topic Defund the Democrats: Stop giving money to the party of surrender and inaction in the forum General Discussion 2 days ago
This morning I got an email from some DP group – I thought I had unsubscribed from them all – that asked me for money so the Dems could fight back or some such bullshit. I clicked on unsubscribe, got a page asking me why????? – I said because the Democrats could have codified Roe into law and did not, but just continue to fund-raise off of it. I…[Read more]

Also, in China, land is either owned by the government or a collective. No private ownership as we know it. You know, like native Americans before we got here. Capitalism rules every single thing in the US.

IMO and all that. What does the US offer its own people and the world except weapons and sanctions?

That probably sounded good at the time, that’s all. It is what Joe Biden does – or does not do – that counts. And that seems very bad, for a very long time.

Not saying the GOP does, either – but no one is asking me to believe the GOP will help us if we only believe…and send money, and STFU. We are only the disposable means to the end of getting into office, and then promptly discarded until the next election and money-raising comes around.

Right now Zelensky is pretty much like a global telethon host, busking for money and weapons. All for show.
