Didn’t you see this poster’s first try on the same subject?
The one claiming living babies from late terms abortions were saved, flown to some location in the far east (sic china), and put on assembly lines, where uncaring Asian (sic chinese) workers would do a magic rub on the babies’ bellies and plunge their hands in like razor blades to…[Read more]

It is “well known” they’re selling organs from executed prisoners?

Food prices have increased by a full third across the board.
I cannot bring myself to care about this subject at all.

A short rant about Scilla siberica in the forum Jackpine Radical Gardening 11 months ago
Whoa! I had to look that one up. In addition to being a complete bully, it’s apparently poisonous to humans. Thankfully I’ve never seen it in our garden stores here, and it probably wouldn’t survive our winters. You have my sympathies.

The previous owner of my abode planted carolina snailseed. Been fighting it 20 odd years, reminds me of kudzu in its temerity. I feel for you

Fuck you and the neighbour you rode in on!
I removed ten 5-gallon buckets of bulbs last year. I’m on track today for 2 more, and that’s just a small fraction of what’s out there. The neighbour mows her lawn so she doesn’t care if they spread. I have a native plant garden, no lawn, and am constantly removing the friggin’ ornamental invasives she…[Read more]

But we’re up near Scandia in the NE metro. We will do about 50 foot rows which should yield about 50 canned quarts which is plenty for us and the people we share with. The composted manure is ready to go we just need some spring weather so the tiller can get through the soil.

If you are anywhere around the south metro to Faribault area, I would be happy to make room for you to grow some potatoes in my garden. I plan on having 4 100 foot rows. Could surely have 5!

I’ve had good luck with the felt-type bags on the patio. They grow like crazy and take up too much room in the raised beds, and for some reason they actually seem to do better in the bags. Google potato bags there’s tons of them. I like the felt-style ones cuz they drain very well, potatoes need good drainage.

I am in MN too. I run about 1/2 acre (208 by 82 feet) of organic ground down near Sheildsville. (15 west of Faribault). I will have 180 peppers, 120 tomatoes, 2000 corn, 15 rhubarb and starting 100 more. 100 Asparagus, at least 40 ready to harvest this year. I planted 1800-2000 garlic last fall.
Onions, potatoes, cucumbers, melons, etc.
Make…[Read more]

I’m gonna do some home-made and regular container gardening on either side, one in more shaded area… So far, I’ve gotten a lot of DYI ideas from the internets for some first time vegetables this way, possibly including potatoes, but I’ll also do my herbs, some lettuces and bush cucumbers. I also have a new patch of garden after rebuilding a wall…[Read more]

We’re in MN so the garden requires good planning. We started tomato and pepper seeds last week and they should be above ground by Easter and transplanted by Mother’s Day. We haven’t grown either since 2018 due to bad blight. We’re on one exburban acre and grow everything in raised beds due to deer and other critters. Every 3-4 years with tomatoes…[Read more]

Is President Biden’s position being undermined by the WaPo and NYT? in the forum Creative Speculation 12 months ago
with it’s recent op-ed that Joey shouldn’t speak in public – at least when it matters.
I think it’s less than undermine, but more recognizing that the facts are finally coming out to the public that Biden is corrupt and he is not fit for office.

Eventually their initial response will be buried or sugar coated, and they will once again be the paper(s) of record.
