Electrolyte Orchestra replied to the topic Democrats’ Top Priority Is To Reform Elections. Will It Be The Bill To Break The Filibuster? in the forum General Discussion 2 days ago
They don’t want the filibuster because then they would have some ‘splainin’ to do to the people when they side with their donors instead. It’s the same ol’ Lucy and the football.
“We would enact a popular robust agenda but we can’t because of the filibuster. “
As always, a couple D senators will break from the party to kneecap the Dem agenda…[Read more]

Hopefully one day, Space Force will be powerful enough to stop the Soros-funded Jewish space lasers that started all the forest fires.
Eradicating boogeymen is difficult, but if anyone can do it, it is … Space Force ! … maybe one day … just not now.

Electrolyte Orchestra replied to the topic Can President Joe Biden mend a torn America? in the forum General Discussion 4 weeks ago
to agree with his corpratist MIC agenda. They have a few photo ops with guys like Romney. Then the Dem establishment can toot their unity horn and shame the left for more divisiveness when it (left) still objects to the same old policies that further divided the country in the first place.
The Trump base isn’t going to unite behind any Dem period…[Read more]

Electrolyte Orchestra replied to the topic Is anyone going to watch today? in the forum General Discussion 1 month ago
I watched Trump ride off into the sunrise to the strains of Laura Brannigan’s Gloria, Elton John’s Tiny Dancer and YMCA by the Village People. I thought that was enough for me.
The few minutes to which I tuned in after that were dedicated to the history of the Bibles upon which Joe and Kamala intended to swear .That was definitely enough for me

He sank the socialist. His outbursts are a liability. They will keep him in the basement for two years so as not to keep embarrassing everyone. Then it’s on to Kamala.

Electrolyte Orchestra replied to the topic Bernie Claims Joey More Receptive to Progressives Than Past Dems in the forum General Discussion 3 months ago
He was nice during the campaign because he needed progressive votes. He may still hear you out – if that’s what you mean by receptive. He’ll let you write some sentences for the party platform since you seem to put some value in that for some reason. He won’t budge on policy if progressive ideas conflict with anyone else.
Campaign’s over, and you…[Read more]

Electrolyte Orchestra replied to the topic Here’s What We Learned About the Far Right From Donald Trump’s Presidency (Jacobin) in the forum General Discussion 3 months ago
“Without supporting the demands of millions who showed up to save democracy, yet again, there is nothing really standing in the way of Trump 2.0.”
It is an indictment of Obama really. His inabilities to resist the neoliberals gave us DJT in the first place. When Biden ignores the reasons why people protest, he will open the door to whomever comes…[Read more]

I don’t recall if media called W President Elect in 2000 for the hanging chad month of indecision.
Right now, there is no President Elect, Biden has reached enough certified EC votes. I see no issue.
If they persist after he’s certified, that is different

There are a lot of GOPers that are done with Trump. They will push another candidate.
The beautiful thing is, should he lose, Trump won’t do much in the next four years except play golf and try to hawk weak branded merchandise to his followers.
The GOP base will be split. His base won’t find a bigger asshole to steal their hearts, and the…[Read more]
