Could this also mean that Tulsi Gabbard will be someone’s VP pick.

It’s funny how these polls always seem to obscure the truth.

Fugitive Birdie replied to the topic Bernie Sanders wants incarcerated people to vote. Here's why he's right. in the forum General Discussion 6 months ago
You would think equality under law would cover this situation.
If you can’t vote you are as good as dead to your democracy.
Fugitive Birdie replied to the topic The duopoly is pushing Bernie wants the Boston Bomber to vote. in the forum General Discussion 6 months ago
Not giving every citizen the right to vote is the path to dictatorship.
The government only needs to put a large percentage of would be voters in jail, particularly ones of a demographic likely to vote them out of power, and then rest assured that the remaining population will vote them back in.
Oh wait. That is already happening.

Jeremy Corbyn has tweeted his condemnation of the arrest of Assange. I will try to dig it up for you.
I believe Bernie Sanders will avoid being too controversial and leave the sharp statements to Tulsi who will likely be his running mate.
If Assange is extradited I believe he…[Read more]

Lastweek Trump said he didn’t know what WikiLeaks was and then quickly corrected himself to say that he doesn’t follow WikiLeaks or that it isn’t his thing.
This after his multitude of proclamations that he loved WikiLeaks and quotes from WikiLeaks printouts in his hand in 2016.

Yeah, what is up with that.
He was cleared of charges in Sweden.
Assange is a publisher and protected.
End of story.

Fugitive Birdie replied to the topic So now AOC and Bernie are jumping on the slave reparations bandwagon? in the forum General Discussion 7 months ago
Actually one poster brought forward a good idea.
There are some corporations that exist today that did benefit directly or indirectly from slavery.
They should be sued by the government for reparations.
I am assuming it would be several of the largest banks and weapons companies.

The epic nature of those crimes.
Fugitive Birdie replied to the topic Russiagate Skeptics Rightly Boast About Being Proven 100% Correct in the forum General Discussion 7 months ago
A lot of us got it right in 2003 when we said they would never find WMDs in Iraq.
A lot of us are getting it right today when we say that Venezuela’s economy was destroyed by sanctions and economic warfare.
So why is it that the Establishment continues to reward people who get these important things wrong?
Of course we know why! It serves…[Read more]
Thank you for mentioning Ilhan Omar.
You are right that she has called out all lawmakers on their AIPAC relationship. This has given MoveOn.org cover for issuing a strong stance.

The last paragraph is key:
America—particularly the Democratic Party—is engaged in a debate right now about the meaning of socialism. It would be a big help for all of us if we were, instead, to have an honest debate about the meaning of the words freedom and liberty.
It seems this is the reason for the existence of the Third Way neo-li…[Read more]
It’s really important to look at the poll methodology.
If it is landlines only or only people who have voted before then it is skewed approximately the way you would expect.
That is it includes mostly those over 45 who voted for Hillary last time.
Fugitive Birdie replied to the topic The mental health crisis among America’s youth is real – and staggering in the forum General Discussion 8 months ago
We should be trying to simplify our lives.
The amount of stress we take in on a constant basis is something we are not evolved for.
Technology hasn’t necessarily made things easier also.

Let’s be clear.
The people doing this are lobbyists and consultants on the take from both neoliberal politicians and big donors.
They know that if Bernie gets the nomination they will lose their gravy train.
