@glinda when I read from your post-
All of this is intriguing. And the sudden disappearance of some is beyond bizarro. New people without names listed or approved is really weird.
Life has distracted me from being able to tell if there are low posts and new people at JPR. Is that what you mean, or was it something else I can’t remember?

Pastiche replied to the topic Democrats pass $1 trillion US infrastructure bill, giving Biden much-needed win in the forum Latest Breaking News 1 year ago
@glinda that there were six democrats that broke with the party:
Rep. Jamaal Bowman of New York
Rep. Cori Bush of Missouri
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York
Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota
Rep. Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts
Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan-
THX. It was perhaps my mistake coming from info on an MN. new site. They may have meant that because she was from MN. and was focusing on that. She is lucky to be alive…

My observations tell me, many people who use M$M televised, magazines, newspaper and radio news believe Russia has interfered with our elections among other problems. It does not matter if they are a Democrat, Republican or Independent, Russia is a major problem in their minds.
In many books about how USA Society works, for the majority…[Read more]

25 Investments That Make You Feel Good While You Make Money in the forum Investment / Personal Finance 3 years ago
@glinda Understood. It’s just a starting point for discussion on the broader issue: How do we, who mostly dislike capitalism and corporations, nevertheless avoid being completely left out of the opportunity to keep what little money we can manage to save from being eroded by inflation, and share in some of the benefits of a system we are cu…[Read more]

That reminds me of something in a stand-up comedy routine I saw just a little while back – the guy said he heard a 90 year old woman was going to try bungee jumping for the first time. He said “won’t she just come apart?” Still cracks me up. (Went to see the original first bungee jump bridge in New Zealand, on vacation. Nope. I don…[Read more]

@glinda we have tons of ravens come each morning for breakfast. We feed them during the winter because food becomes more scarce at that time of year here.
THOSE critters are smart. As in real smart.

That was news tome – I’m not a Jane follower. Here’s the story and she has done this before with the centrist-right wing of the party.
Jane Fonda was a progressive icon back when it wasn’t quite so acceptable to be unabashedly left-wing.
While candidates running in Democratic primaries in some parts of the country might have sought ou…[Read more] -
