Please, life in prison for Conor. He won’t be “rehabilitated” no matter how long he’s locked up. He’ll probably get worse.

Iwillnevergiveup replied to the topic Things far more important than what happened to Jeffrey Epstein in the forum General Discussion 1 year ago
Everything you said is righteous, O.B., but this whole Epstein fiasco in my mind is symtomatic of the corruption we endure on every level in this country. So many, many people are complicit here, and if heads roll as a result, I’m fine with that. Our past, unfortunately doesn’t bode well. So many, many evil criminals in elected office have go…[Read more]

The Trumps should start a non=revocable $1 million trust fund for that deserving child.

Color me naive, but isn’t anyone who applies for food stamps pretty much eligible for them?

Iwillnevergiveup replied to the topic Rep. Tim Ryan says he'll lead a 'caravan' to McConnell's home state to protest for gun control in the forum Latest Breaking News 1 year ago
My cynical self says Ryan is looking to redeem himself after his disastrous showings in the debates. But if this gets lots of publicity, if other House members join up, and if the Senate votes for the gun safety bill, my straw hat will be off to him.

Iwillnevergiveup replied to the topic Rogan's interview with Bernie 4.3 million views as of this morning. One of the best things Bernie has done. in the forum President 1 year ago
Joe Rogan isn’t necessarily a “coiffed, polished” journalist, but that interview with Bernie was fantastic! He let Bernie talk and asked good follow-up questions. I was very heartened by the positive responses, especially by those whose minds were changed and who now support Bernie. Lots of folks got educated.

Iwillnevergiveup replied to the topic BERNIE or BUST Isn't a Threat, But a Warning! in the forum General Discussion 1 year ago
Itemized in print, all these injustices that have crept up on us make the state of our country looks very bad. I’m certainly not alone in acknowledging this, and truly believe that as months go by and more bad stuff happens, Bernie is gonna soar. He’s drawing huge crowds as well as connecting with countless groups in smaller venues, amassing m…[Read more]

Iwillnevergiveup replied to the topic Sanders: Democratic debate format is 'demeaning' in the forum President 1 year ago
Well, Mr. Barbarian, consider this post a rec since I totally agree with you and Bernie! I’m furious that idiots like Delaney, Hickenlooper and DeBlasio got on stage, and Mike Gravel was excluded. Too many took of too much space and time who never had a chance. AND THEY KNEW IT!

Iwillnevergiveup replied to the topic Here is Exactly Why Congress Won’t Act on Gun Violence, Climate Change, Impeaching Trump or Anything Else in the forum General Discussion 1 year ago
I think there’s a “what good does it do” feeling at work here, too. How many millions worldwide have protested climate change? Occupy? Endless war? Gon violence? And little, if anything improves. These are seen by lots of folks as being insurmountable problems, but with decent, sane global LEADERSHIP, they could all be reckoned with.

Iwillnevergiveup replied to the topic We’re on our way to Bernie Sanders town hall in Vista and decided to stretch our legs for a minute at some outlet shops in the forum General Discussion 1 year ago
Look at the smiles on those folks. So happy Bernie’s spent lots of time in CA – it will pay off! The September debates will be great to watch since many place=holders will be weeked out & Bernie will have more talk time. His campaign style reminds me a lot of RFK – getting out among people and engaging.
