beltanefauve replied to the topic Facing fire from the right and left, Sen. Susan Collins beckons voters to political center in the forum General Discussion 3 months ago
She’s been playing that rope-a-dope for years. She’ll hem and haw, and appear thoughtful. But when the actual vote comes up, she’ll side with the Republicans. The Kavanaugh vote is a more recent example.

beltanefauve replied to the topic Nobody Wants To See BERNIE Campaign For BIDEN! – JDS in the forum General Discussion 3 months ago
Where are Warren, Buttegieg and Klobuchar? If anyone should be campaigning for Biden, it’s those three. And after donating, canvassing and phone banking for Bernie, I am more than a little disgusted that he is out there stumping for someone who shares none of my values, and putting more time and energy into it than those Neoliberal sellouts.

In my rural California town, I see lots of Trump banners and signs. On the roads, sadly, I still see lots of Bernie bumper stickers.

beltanefauve replied to the topic Warren endorses Charles Booker in Kentucky Senate primary in the forum Senate 7 months ago
Warren endorsed Booker AND she has endorsed Frackenlooper in Colorado over Romanoff, the progressive in that race. Methinks she’s just hedging her bets. She told us herself that she is just a player in the game. I’d love to see a strong progressive challenger primary her ass in 2024.

And the extra $600. a week isn’t really extra. It’s what people would have if they actually had a living wage.

beltanefauve replied to the topic Thanks to over 15k for coming out in Chicago this afternoon (pic) in the forum General Discussion 10 months ago
The media keeps trying to tell us that the youth just didn’t make it out to vote in South Carolina and on Super Tuesday, and yet we see pictures of cold weather cities such as Chicago today and Boston last weekend, drawing tens of thousands of supporters. These supporters travel, they have to find parking, they wait in the cold for hours…[Read more]

beltanefauve replied to the topic [Video] – Rising – Krystal and Saagar: Is Obama behind the stop Bernie movement? in the forum General Discussion 10 months ago
They want to do two things : sway the low-information voters, AND demoralize Bernie’s supporters. Don’t let them. I voted for Bernie this morning .
As for Obama, I totally believe he is behind the Stop Bernie movement. Bernie is too much of a risk to his precious legacy.

beltanefauve replied to the topic Hillary Clinton calls Bernie Sander's campaign 'just baloney' in the forum General Discussion 10 months ago
I wish she would just go away with her bitter self, but anything she has to say can only have the unintended effect of helping Bernie . She’s grasping at straws just trying to stay relevant. If she could find any real dirt on Bernie, I’m sure it would have come out by now.

My husband has one of those union jobs with great benefits. I am enrolled in the dental plan at my job, which gives us supplementary dental. We’re in a better position than most, but now I need an implant, and neither one of our plans will cover this. We just don’t have the $5000. out-of-pocket that I will need for this procedure.

Maybe its time for another Bernie money bomb. I just gave, after WARren stabbed him in the back, but that’s the beauty of small donations. I can keep on giving and not be tapped out. And that’s the beauty of Bernie supporters. The more the powers that be ignore, ridicule or screw over Bernie, the more likely we are to rise to the occasion with donations.
