For write-in to count, some states simply allow it, some flat out don’t, but the majority require you to file to the Secy of State with your list of electors.
Currently there are 449 available just by write-in. TX requires filing in just a few days, and we really need Ventura not to miss it!!

A petition with 1M signatures could have a strong effect on him wanting to take the leap. But 70K? Not looking great. So it’s a bummer that people will say “Hurrr.. he said he’s not running.” Just sign the damn thing anyway! It’s not like change.org doesn’t have your email already.

shows that he is either completely lacking comprehension of the urgent needs of the 99% with regard to the lethal economic and physical injustices the privatized health insurance/health care industry has inflicted upon us, or he is so completely owned by the private health insurance/health care industry that he doesn’t care if he loses to Trump,…[Read more]

@mmonk Your reply made me think of something, but I am still considering how much or what part of it is completely correct; Bernie does not care what the voters need, he really only wanted to become a part of the New Democratic Party apparatus. Fuck Us for needing for him to become one of the Presidential nominees that Americans could vote f…[Read more]

If he doesn’t get out there and make some noise and get some attention he’s not going to do any better than Jill Stein did, and the Greens have a very sorry track record on that score. I voted for Jill Stein in 2016, but to this day most people I run into have never heard of her. Hawkins will be no different; maybe worse.
His best hope of getting…[Read more]
the Green Party candidates? If Nina Turner were invited to run as the Green Party President or VP, how would the Green Party fare against Joe and Michelle? The show would be on the road. There are consequences for cheating Bernie/Us and the American People, for two election cycles.

I agree with your point that the Green Party has done some of the legwork, although, unlike the Libertarian Party, the Greens are still not on the ballot in every state.
One would think that the MPP would have faced this question many times. It’s pretty obvious for someone to ask, “Assuming I agree with the strategy of going with a…[Read more]

This is not “Advice from a party that works to shut the Greens out of the process.” The article excerpted in the OP is by Bill McKibben, a longtime activist on climate change. He’s not a representative of the Democratic Party.
