And apparently most in Congress don’t know about it. We need to make them aware, and aware that they won’t be getting our vote unless they act.

Sorry for misleading you.
There are two main issues for Russia. The military threat of encroaching NATO on their border, and protection of ethnic Russians.
They have been going slow to preserve lives as much as possible or practical.

is unfortunate, and Ukraine strategy is to fight from within cities, and use civilians as hostages.
I think the neo-Nazis will be put on trial for war crimes, when this is all done.

I don’t know much about Transistria. It’s a breakaway republic from Moldavia, with Russian population and troop presence.
I’m just applying my own opinion to what Russia might do. To protect ethnic Russians from neo-Nazis mainly.
I think many of Russia’s original objectives are about met, but the demilitarization and deNazification have not…[Read more]

They guess the pink and yellow regions will be kept by Russia, containing the majority of Russians. This includes Odessa and Kharkov.
I’m guessing they’ll take Kharkov first, while keeping Odessa ‘fixed’.
Also to connect to Transnistria, Odessa must be taken.
We’ll see.

The U.S./NATO did arm and train Ukraine over 8 years to be a solid fighting force with deep concrete tremches, a defacto NATO army. But not strong enough to stand up to against Russia.
I think the U.S. and EU will have bigger problems to deal with by Winter.

The real story is that Russia vacated Snake Island, so it could be used to facilitate grain shipment. This will require that Ukraine clear mines though.

Economist Michael Hudson on inflation and Fed plan to cut wages: A depression is coming
This is a brilliant interview with transcript coming at Ben Norton’s site. It explains thoroughly the difference between finance capitalism of the West and industrialization of Eurasia.

It is upsetting that he supports Biden. Who know what deals get cut behind to scenes.
One thing he has done is promote progressives at the state and national level very effectively.

His issues revolve around working and middle class struggles, taking on Wall Street, defense spending, health care, big pharma, and so on. He’s just one senator, not a super hero.

USA – Not even close. With 800 military bases around the world, perpetual wars, and a military budget as large as the next 9 countries combined.
Also the UK as a clone of the U.S., and Israel for their treatment of Palestinians, Lebanese, Iranians, Syrians, and it’s stranglehold on the U.S. government and media.

The R’s and D’s are both warmongers, probably helpless when confronting the military industrial complex. Every once in a long while someone like JFK comes along and doesn’t play along. So, he had to be eliminated.
What a country.

The MIC probably gave him a number of options to wars, including covert wars. I don’t think he actually started a war like The three preceding presidents, and to his credit he did try to end Afghanistan war, and did end (sort of) the Syrian war.
I hate the way he sucked up to Israel though, moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, bombed Syria based…[Read more]
