ProgRockinProg replied to the topic Faced with defeat, armed protesters in Arizona insist election stolen in the forum Latest Breaking News 2 months ago
I can believe that some in the bureaucracy may get together in small groups of two or three that work in some department, that disagree with the party in power and gum up as much as they can get away with. But there is no “momentum” of a large secret organization, that meets or communicates somehow, and has a leadership, (Hillary or Soros). I…[Read more]

Thank you. And thanks for being cordial. Believe me, it is odd for me to be on this side of the fence. I am used to battling the Biden Bros on THAT site.
I guess I just disagree in that I think he, and more importantly who he surrounds himself with, who gloms onto him, from Steven Miller etc..Smarter fascists than he is, is what will ca…[Read more]

djdean111: Sorry I sounded like I was telling folks in here how they have to vote. It was meant more of a general “have to” take out Trump directed at the whole country. But please don’t put words into my mouth with fake quotations. “gee, you made your point, so now do what you are told”.
Look I agree with your assessment Biden is as bad as…[Read more]

I feel sometimes I am caught between THAT board, who kicked me off for defending Bernie a bit too hard, and/or criticizing the D establishment, and THIS board, which so far I’m allowed to stay on, even though it seems I am not as radical as most.
I always thought that even while there are major differences in the parties on social justice issues,…[Read more]

I would like that. He did promise it would be a woman. I’m not one to throw the baby (a small step of influence towards progressive values) with the bathwater (they’re all sellouts!!!). IMO Warren’s campaign was another causality in the DNC machinations. Including from those usurpers installed in her campaign. Who stoked the fires between San…[Read more]

ProgRockinProg replied to the topic New York cancels presidential primary, citing coronavirus, after Sanders camp asked to stay on ballot in the forum Latest Breaking News 9 months ago
I’m different than some others in that I would support voting Biden. Only because we have now had our “disruption” that Sarandon was saying was the silver lining last time. Trump has done enough damage. Instead of increasing the left’s influence, the DNC doubled down to snuff them and their candidate and I suspect a plan to move further right.…[Read more]

These guys speak everything I and every progressive must be thinking about now. We simply cannot allow Biden, if he wins, which is up in the air, but in anticipation, to not have actual consequences if he thumbs his nose at progressives, same as it ever was.
Our Revolution, with or without Sanders, has to organize, and be relevant enough, and…[Read more]

ProgRockinProg replied to the topic Trump puts forth idea that heat, humidity could help fight virus in the forum Latest Breaking News 9 months ago
Of course its not HIS idea. It is already predicted that the virus will not fare as well in warmer climates. So he can say “See, your great leader knows all”. Which is why it is also predicted by experts that there will be a second wave in the Fall. Something he has poo pooed.

ProgRockinProg replied to the topic The Democratic Establishment Suddenly Loves Bernie Sanders in the forum General Discussion 9 months ago
Time to go all in. And get Biden to commit publicly. If not M4A, then a public option with an open path towards single payer M4A if Democrats get a second term. Minimum wage to $15. And along with Warren, demand criminal investigations against those in the Trump administration. None of that “looking forwards” crap this time. I guess I cho…[Read more]

I respect your opinion. And agree with most of it. Biden will not push the needle forward for progressive goals.
I would counter that Biden is the lesser for these reasons,
Term limits are not that relevant here. As I really believe that Biden will be Reagan 2.0 (in his last term) My dad had dementia. I know the signs. In…[Read more]

“I want to believe Bernie is doing this in order to have any voice moving forward in the Senate and I get it. That doesn’t mean I have to support that POS Joe Biden or any other scumbag the DNC nominates.”
Those two lines contradict each other. Yes….yes it does mean you have to, if not support philosophically, support with your vote, Bid…[Read more]

He’s dropped out, but not endorsed him yet afaik. I hope Biden’s camp understands he needs the twice scorned progressives more than they need him. In fact he should ask for M4A. A clear path to it in the platform. I’m holding my cards until I see what is in it for us, everyone, that Sanders can squeeze out of him. But don’t squeeze too hard or h…[Read more]

You are right, i shouldn’t have included Abrams. But the others I mentioned, including AOC, are still there, and need our support if they even want to chip away at the machine. At least they’d be inside the machine

It is ludicrous to not vote Democratic this November. If you can’t see how devastating it would be if Donald fucking Trump was allowed another 4 long years after November, well…its because you can’t. He already now has carte blanche to bribe foreign leaders to smear Democrats or any official for that matter. In four years he has al…[Read more]
