The most annoying part of Warren’s “plans” is that Warren will get all kinds of good press for this, while Bernie’s plan, released less than a week ago, will either go unmentioned or be portrayed as pandering for black votes and will be completely drowned out by the full media praise for Warren.

Booty Judge won his second term as mayor with only 8,369 votes! Not the margin, the total! Only 8,369 people actually voted for him! Hahahahaha

Seems to me that he did what he always does, stood on principle for what is right. That is after all, aside from his policies, his single biggest selling point, that he’s always been consistent. Yeah, it was clearly a rhetorical trap and he walked right into it, but if he changed his position every time someone laid a trap for him, he’d just be…[Read more]

Oh for the love. Even in the outtake copied here, it says “or the privacy of uncharged individuals.” Couldn’t that be the reason? Now we’re going to fluff the Manafort angle to keep the Russiagate propaganda blitz going? Russia Maddow must be thrilled.

No, random harassment of people of color by “low-level cops” is NOT excusable and its shameful that anyone would try to excuse it. How many times in your life have you moved? Were you prepared to be handcuffed at gunpoint and interrogated each time? I don’t think so. No more double standards.

This is still a problem and renders the site almost unreadable on mobile devices. Would it be possible to modify the mobile CSS to allow the header to scroll with the page instead of being fixed? That would solve the problem on mobile, wouldn’t affect the look of the site, and (hopefully!) would be a pretty easy change in the CSS. Thanks for considering!

The message was WordPress specific, so if 4.0 doesn’t use that platform, then I would say that’s a reasonable supposition.

For some reason, I’ve been locked out of the site, when using my PC. I get a WordPress message “You are temporarily locked out” whenever I click the login button. I think it is IP address related, since when I use cellular data wth my phone, I can login fine (as this post proves). I just can’t login at all from my PC that’s on the router. W…[Read more]

Wait, so we supposedly got Trump because Bernie didn’t campaign for Clinton (I know it’s a blatant lie) but the same fools telling that lie about Bernie are just allowed to just come right out and say they’ll never vote for Bernie if he’s the nominee? Are they saying they’d prefer Trump over Bernie? Is that really what David Brock is going on…[Read more]

They just had “free and fair elections” and Maduro won. That’s what started this whole nonsense. Jimmy Carter’s election monitoring non-profit says that Venezuela has some of the cleanest elections in the world, well better than the ones we have here. International observers also validated the most recent election. Some of the opposition boycotted…[Read more]

rachaelseven replied to the topic Ex-Maine GOP gov: White people won't get 'anything to say' if Electoral College is eliminated in the forum General Discussion 3 years ago
It doesn’t matter, no chance this ever happens. Abolishing the electoral college requires a constitutional amendment.
Actually, that is wrong. The constitution does not specify how each state selects its electors or how those electors vote. So a state law that awards that state’s electors to the winner of the popular vote is perfectly c…[Read more]
