However, US State Departments actions like telling all Americans to leave Ukraine because of the risk of war, and not to even consider visiting Ukraine, is resulting in huge economic impacts in Ukraine.  That may finally have the impact of the Ukrainians telling the US to go away.  I can hope, anyway 🙂

One lady was saying please in Ukrainian (будь ласка (budʹ laska)) rather than the Russian пожалуйста (pozhaluysta). I was surprised, to be honest!

Belarus hasn’t been involved in the Ukrainian conflict at all yet — but this may just bring Lukashenko totally into the Ukrainian conflict on Russia’s side if the Ukrainian government attacks Donbass or Crimea.
