The problem is that the Fed’s been flowing geysers of cash into Wall St. while Congressional actions and inaction have been steadily strangling Main St. $2k checks would even things up a little bit, and it’s likely to do more for the real economy than the trillions pumped into Wall T; but both are expenses that must eventually be paid on way or another.

@ThouArtThat! It’s been pretty obvious from the way things have gone that over the last several decades, more than one corporate player has been intentionally acting in the ways recommended in the Powell memo – but I’d never heard much about the memo. Just downloaded it; glad to know about it!
