Actually, it IS free….at least in Texas.
Not that I am defending our healthcare system.
I think they understand that if the vaccine is not free, the economy will never recover.
Texas Dept of Public Health decided on Monday to allow 1Bs to be vaccinated if they ran out of 1As. I had to call around to many providers to find one that knew that was the guideline. I put my name in and they called me back that evening and asked if I could come in. They didn’t say this, but I read between the lines and it seems that had 9 1…[Read more]

It won’t really thin the ranks of the young and the stupid. I think it is a republican strategy to relieve themselves of the burden of caring for their elderly.
Young republicans will be growing up without grandfathers and grandmothers.
By that logic, Kamala will be a truly terrible president. Biden will be a very bad president, since he is senile and cannot speak in English sentences without a teleprompter. His team cannot even allow him to announce his vice-president pick, they had to do it with a press release. Whatever the deep state requires will be his priority.
Now Ka…[Read more]
We’ll see if anything comes of it.
No lessor of two evils for me. Joe is just a hand puppet for the corporatacracy.
I didn’t mean to suggest that it wasn’t going to work for him. An empty suit for president is the establishment’s wet dream.
He will sign anything that is put on his desk.
The way things are going, I’m not sure Trump is going to be able to hold it together, mentally, until November.
Of course, with Biden, there is no “it” to hold together anymore, but he is just saying what people tell him to say, so it doesn’t matter.

I don’t think that would be a problem at all for Trump. He is probably ready for a newer model anyway.

“Not only will I protect Social Security, I will strengthen it.”
Standard Republican politician-speak for gutting benefits, and then claiming that “strengthens” the program.
I guess if Social Security never paid out another dime, then it would be really, really “strong.”

I can pretty much assure you that no one on JPR is considering him.

This is nowhere near enough to override the guaranteed veto.
But it is amazing that we got this many democrats and 8 republicans to defy the MIC.
What is going on here?

So right now, it looks like the most probable outcome is that Bernie has twice as many delegates as anyone else, but not a majority. Right now, Bernie has a 40% chance of having a majority of pledged delegates for the first vote at the convention.

Well, at least she had the decency to quit the Mayo Pete campaign before going to Nevada.
The question is…is Pete keeping a seat warm for her for if she gets the job done in Nevada?
I wonder if the University of Michigan Law School has a requirement for an ethics class?

It is a misnomer, is what it is. Each month and quarter there is an FEC reporting deadline for reporting on the last fundraising period.

The Hill seems to have cut that clip to 25 seconds, which does NOT include the quote. They must have received instructions not to embarrass one of the centrist preferred candidates.
Really, how could Joe have thought that was acceptable? He is clearly losing his judgement.

Oracle is a leading supplier of business accounting and supply chain software. This would be a very small task for them, well within their capabilities….IF they have time to test and train, and IF their management is not in the tank with the DNC to corrupt the process. Both very big IFs.
The company was founded by Larry Ellison, a…[Read more]
