Ohio Barbarian replied to the topic How a Hillary ‘SHILL’ Went All In for Bernie Sanders in the forum General Discussion 5 days ago
@xyzse +1000
It’s Politico, home of inside-the-beltway gossip where political consultants like Daou go when they want to see how important they are. And they often really are important inside their fantastically comfortable bubble.
I give Daou credit for seeing outside the bubble and for making an accurate political analysis, this time. Nothing…[Read more]

Fucking birds are a menace. I was running all over the front area around the farm house and screaming like a banshee waving my arms like a windmill.
And EVERYONE was rolling on the floor laughing their asses off.
I coulda been killed, I say!!!

I’m of a similar mindset. I would be happy to see Trump removed from office, but I’m ambivalent about the impeachment process because Democrats and their minions in the media have proven with the Russiagate narrative that they have little interest in the truth and are focused only on gaining power. They have richly earned all the s…[Read more]

@xyzse Of course that’s what he titles his book. What did I expect? Such a try hard clown. I’ll never forget him him painfully deadlifting 375 with the worst form I’ve ever seen. Says it all about him. And he was so proud too. lol.

game meat replied to the topic Saagar Enjeti: The Harris campaign still doesn't get it in the forum General Discussion 1 month ago
That’s true too. Obama would have a tougher time today. I think much of that is because more people are cynical and distrustful of our pols today than in 2008, a result of the Obama bait and switch. Just claiming to be for or against something isn’t worth anything anymore.
I still think Harris embodying HRC anti-charisma, being a terrible…[Read more]

Agreed on Joe Rogan. For the longest time I never gave JRE a chance because I only knew him as a bad comedian, and just dismissed him out of hand.
He really found his true calling as a podcast host. He seems genuinely open minded, able to discuss anything with anyone. I appreciate the diversity of guests, a rarity in an age where most…[Read more]

Sorry, this wasn’t so much directed at you, as the original headline writer. Also I don’t normally read URL’s, as most don’t really give a clue to the subject, or do I blindly click on them.
The problem is, as another poster pointed out, initials should be spelled out the first time, so readers know what the author is saying. Really Blind…[Read more] -
Ohio Barbarian replied to the topic Former Bill Clinton adviser: Hillary Clinton thinks 'God put her on the Earth' to be president in the forum General Discussion 1 month ago
@xyzse Great reply. I’d just like to put in my two cents on a couple of things.
I’m no JFK fan, and think he was a mediocre president at best who did one great thing, which happened to save all of our lives–he refused to go to war with the Soviet Union in 1962. That said, he was a true liberal and definitely not a Vichy Dem. Other than that, he…[Read more]

@xyzse Calabasas is out, but there’s a big one down near the Getty Museum. Winds up here have subsided a bit. I hear helicopters overhead, inspecting lines. Hope to get power on tonight. I’m hanging out at my client’s house because it’s too darned cold at mine with no electricity. He has a generator.

Nothing ticks me off more than planned obsolescence! We use to be able to buy a stove, refrigerator, washer, dryer, etc… And own them for 40-50 years because you could go to the hardware store or Sears and buy any part needed for anything you owned. Not anymore!
I had a KitchenAid stove, 12 years old, a few years ago that…[Read more]

Yes, especially iPhones. I’ve never owned an iPhone, but I couldn’t change the battery in my old Windows phone either. Right now I use a cheap Blu smartphone that does have a replaceable battery, BUT… I have search everywhere for a replacement battery and it’s nowhere to be found! So basically, it’s a disposable phone when the battery…[Read more]

That poll was posted on debate day, before the debates.
